Day 1: ZAGREB
Arrival to Zagreb International Airport. Meet your Tour Escort and transfer to your hotel . Afternoon tour of the Croatian capital, Zagreb, with local guide , tour includes visit to fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, St Mark’s church with its multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and the University. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: ZAGREB - PLITVICE NATIONAL PARK - OPATIJA
Breakfast at hotel and morning departure towards Plitvice National Park. Upon arrival, beginning of Sightseeing Tour during which you will discover unique magic of water and woods, in the valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green colour. They are fed by many small streams and brooks and spill into each other in foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Due to their unique evolution and beauty the Plitvice Lakes were entered in the UNESCO Register of World Natural Heritage. The tour includes riding by electric-boat and electric-train. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, proceed towards Opatija also called "Queen of tourism" . Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 3: OPATIJA - ISTRIA - OPATIJA
Breakfast. Full day excursion to Rovinj and Pula. Pula, the largest city in the peninsula of Istra, retains an outstanding collection of Roman ruins: the amphitheater with capacity for 23,000 spectators, where were held simulations of sea battles and gladiators battles, the Hercules Gate (1st century BC), the Triumphal arch, the monumental Temple of Augustus and the Byzantine chapel of St. Mary of Formosa. Rovinj is a medieval picturesque town , especially known for its steep, narrow streets paved with stone. Founded in the third century on an island. Connected to the mainland 1,500 years later, Rovinj was the largest city in the western Istria from the Middle Ages till the 19th century. Lunch during the tour. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: OPATIJA – POSTOJNA – LJUBLJANA
Breakfast at hotel and morning departure towards Postojna. Upon arrival visit the Postojna caves with their wonderful formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue towards Ljubljana. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5: LJUBLJANA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of the capital of Slovenia, during which we’ll see the old part of town located between the castle and the river Ljubljanica and discover a baroque city which highlight are bridges , imposing facades and decorations of their churches. Lunch at local restaurant and afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: LJUBLJANA – BLED – LJUBLJANA
Breakfast. In the morning we continue to meet the other beauties of Slovenia. We will arrive at the place from where departures the boat that will take us to the island of Bled. Visit the church of St. Mary built in 8th and 9th centuries. We ring the bell of wishes and discover the legends of the island and its surroundings. Afterwards we will drive around the lake to the castle, where will enjoy glorious view of the lake with small island in the center. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon return to Ljubljana in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: LJUBLJANA - MARIBOR AND WINE ROADS
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure from hotel to Maribor, the capital of the Štajerska region and the second largest city in the country. At the same time charming small city, framed with extraordinary nature of Pohorje on the one hand and the vineyard hills on the other, as well as by the Drava river which crosses the city. The long tradition of winery ,the environment of the city with its flourishing cultural history, its location between the vineyards hills and green Pohorje as well as the possibilities for exploration, recreation, relaxation, fun and games will show you that Maribor has a heart and soul and the locals are great hosts. After lunch at the traditional tavern, we drive to Ljubljana. In the evening farewell dinner at local restaurant. Accommodation.
Day 8: LJUBLJANA- ZAGREB AIRPORT
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Zagreb Airport.
