Day 1: SPLIT
Arrival to Split Airport. Meet your Tour Escort and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 2: SPLIT – TROGIR – SIBENIK - SPLIT
Breakfast at hotel. Morning guided tour of the city in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The city was originally built around the Diocletian palace (a palace/fort built for the retired Roman emperor Diocletian) where the locals sought refuge centuries ago. Exploring the historic centre of Split you can still clearly see the Roman walls, squares, and temples. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and visit the most important sights: the famous Diocletian’s Palace, which makes part of the UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage and presents a distinctive trade mark of Split itself, Cathedral, Jupiter's Temple and other cultural monuments you will see on your way during the city tour. Departure to Trogir, founded by the Greeks in the third century as Tragurion AE. Trogir is a small town on an island with many vestiges of the Middle Ages The most important sights are : Citadel Kamerlengo and the Tower of San Marcos, City Hall, Tower Clock, etc. Lunch at local restaurant and departure for Sibenik, town located at the mouth of the river Krka Arrival and tour with local guide of the city whose cathedral is a World Heritage Site, and the old fortress of St. Mihovil overlooking the hidden channels. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: SPLIT – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the visit of the city of Mostar, which was a major business center during the Ottoman Empire. The city is also known for its Old Bridge (Stari Most), recently rebuilt by UNESCO, which was destroyed during the war in 1993. Lunch at local restaurant. Then go through the mountains of Bosnia and arrive in Sarajevo, after having admired wonderful wild landscapes. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: SARAJEVO – DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will discover the center of a fascinating city, loacted on the crossroads of civilizations. The city has healed his wounds with exceptional energy. You will pass through the heart of the city, the famous "Bascarsija" and visit the Great Mosque Gazi-Husrev Begova, surrounded by her madrassa and the big clock tower. Steps will lead also to the Austro-Hungarian a neighborhood, and following the footsteps of the Jews and Catholics, represented by their places of worship. Original monuments like the great national library will fascinate you. And maybe you’ll get to the exact spot where was assassinated the Prince Franz Ferdinand of Hapsburg ... Lunch and departure to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast at hotel sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik.Surrounded by 1,940 m. of Gothic and Renaissance city walls, preserves its numerous churches , about 80 palaces and famous Minceta, the biggest fortress situated in the northern part of the city walls , best preserved in Europe. Later we will visit the world's oldest pharmacy inside of Franciscan Monastery. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon free at leisure. Return back to hotel and overnight.
Day 6: DUBROVNIK – MONTENEGRO – DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure on a full day excursion to Montenegro. Join a trip along ever-changing South Adriatic coast to a tiny country of Montenegro - a county of great natural beauty, immense cultural heritage. Admire scenery of only Montenegrin fjord – a Nordic look alike: gray-white mountains enveloping the fjord with miniature islands dotted along mirror-like water in the bay. We stop in Perast to visit the small island “Our Lady of Škpjel” and the church which is located on it and which was built in XVII century. The church is famous for 68 frescos painted by the best masters of the Baroque fresco painter of this time - Tripo Kokolj. The tour continues with the visit to ancient town Kotor – the pearl of the medieval Mediterranean, which will be presented in its full beauty. During the sightseeing tour, you can visit the famous St. Triphun Cathedral. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, return back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: DUBROVNIK – STON – SPLIT
Breakfast. Morning departure along Adriatic coast to Split. Stop at the ancient town of Ston for a local wine tasting and lunch of local specialties. Departure for Split. Dinner and overnight
Day 8: SPLIT
Breakfast at hotel. Time at disposal for individual activities. Transfer to Split Airport
