Day 1: ZAGREB
Arrival to Zagreb International Airport. Meet your Tour Escort and transfer to your hotel . Afternoon tour of the Croatian capital, Zagreb, with local guide , tour includes visit to fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, St Mark’s church with its multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and the University. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: ZAGREB - BLED - LJUBLJANA
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Bled for a visit of "paradise at the foot of the Alps", where we will discover the charming city on the lake and the impressive Bled Castle, located on a cliff above the lake. We will also have the opportunity to go across the lake to the island of Lake Bled. There we will to visit the small Baroque church and ring his bell. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Ljubljana. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: LJUBLJANA - POSTOJNA - OPATIJA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of the capital of Slovenia, during which we’ll see the old part of town located between the castle and the river Ljubljanica and discover a baroque city which highlights are bridges , imposing facades and decorations of their churches. Continue to Postojna. Upon arrival, lunch at local restaurant and visit the Postojna caves with their wonderful formations of stalactites and stalagmites. In the afternoon, departure towards Opatija, the "Queen of tourism" in Croatia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: OPATIJA - PLITVICE - ZADAR
Breakfast at hotel and morning departure towards Plitvice National Park. Upon arrival, beginning of Sightseeing Tour during which you will discover unique magic of water and woods, in the valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green colour. They are fed by many small streams and brooks and spill into each other in foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Due to their unique evolution and beauty the Plitvice Lakes were entered in the UNESCO Register of World Natural Heritage. The tour includes riding by electric-boat and electric-train. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, proceed towards Zadar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: ZADAR - SPLIT
Breakfast at hotel and morning sightseeing tour of Zadar. The city of Zadar, 3000 years old, has been the capital of Dalmatia for centuries. It has preserved the antique appearance of its streets among the old city walls. The city is well known for its St.Donat Church. In 1396. the first croatian university was founded in this city. The first croatian novel has been written in this city, as well as the first newspaper has been edited here. In 1821 the first bottle of Maraschino liqueur was made in Zadar – a nice souvenir to take home.Lunch at local restaurant and departure to Split. Afternoon sightseeing of Split. The city was originally built around the Diocletian palace (a palace/fort built for the retired Roman emperor Diocletian) where the locals sought refuge centuries ago. Exploring the historic centre of Split you can still clearly see the Roman walls, squares, and temples. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and visit the most important sights: the famous Diocletian’s Palace, which makes part of the UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage and presents a distinctive trade mark of Split itself, Cathedral, Jupiter's Temple and other cultural monuments you will see on your way during the city tour.Dinner and overnight
Day 6: SPLIT - MOSTAR - DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at hotel and departure towards Bosnia-Herzegovina for sightseeing of Mostar. Mostar was famous commercial center during Ottoman Empire . The town is known for its Stone bridge (Stari most), recently reconstructed by UNESCO. The bridge was destroyed in 1993 during the war. Lunch at local restaurant and departure to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival sightseeing tour of old city on foot. City tour includes the most important medieval sights.Dinner and overnight at hotel in Dubrovnik
Day 7: DUBROVNIK - MONTENEGRO - DUBROVNIK
Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure on a full day excursion to Montenegro. Join a trip along ever-changing South Adriatic coast to a tiny country of Montenegro- a county of great natural beauty, immense cultural heritage. Admire scenery of only Montenegrin fjord – a Nordic look alike: gray-white mountains enveloping the fjord with miniature islands dotted along mirror-like water in the bay. We stop in Perast to visit the small island “Our Lady of Škpjel” and the church which is located on it and which was built in XVII century. The church is famous for 68 frescos painted by the best masters of the Baroque fresco painter of this time - Tripo Kokolj. The tour continues with the visit to ancient town Kotor – the pearl of the medieval Mediterranean, which will be presented in its full beauty. During the sightseeing tour, you can visit the famous St. Triphun Cathedral and the Maritime Museum of Kotor, which preserves the valuable exhibits of old traditions. Lunch at the local restaurant. Day 8: DUBROVNIK
